The official launch of tyrZ Congleton was marked with a mayoral opening and family fun day on Saturday, 10th November.
The event, held at the Antrobus Street garage, was officiated by Congleton Town Mayor Councillor Suzie Akers Smith, who cut the ribbon to welcome customers and declare the new facility officially open.
TyrZ Congleton is the second branch for the family-run business, following the success of tyrZ Bollington which launched in 2004.
TyrZ owner Andy Ritchie commented: “It was great to be able to welcome the community into the garage for the fun day. We are delighted to have opened our second branch in the heart of Congleton. Family values are very important to us and we look forward to working alongside other local businesses and serving the people of Congleton.
Speaking after cutting the ribbon, Congleton Town Mayor Coun Akers Smith said: “Thank you for inviting me to open the new branch today. It’s good to welcome new businesses into Congleton, as small businesses help form the backbone to our community. As a council, we try our best to support the local businesses across Congleton, and we wish you a massive success.”
Previously occupied by the same car garage for around 30 years, the spacious facilities have undergone an extensive transformation creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
The fun day entertainment was provided by a local radio station DJ, and a Racing Mini was on display for motor enthusiasts. Young guests took away their own complimentary balloon figure created by an imaginative modeller, and were also entertained by a football shootout challenge.
tyrZ For Tyres is open Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm.
Located on Antrobus Street, Congleton, tyrZ offers both a drive in and mobile service. Equipped with the latest state of the art Hunter Hawkeye Elite alignment system, as well as high end tyre fitting and wheel balancing equipment, tyrZ is able to cater for all vehicle types.
"As a local, family run tyre company, we aim to deliver great value for money, coupled with an honest and reliable service."
