On the 26th September in Syon House in Middlesex, Liverpool based field marketing company Exsellence won Gold for "New Sales Agency of the Year" at the FMBE Awards 2019.
Established in 2017 Exsellence specialises in field marketing on behalf of consumer brands. The team is responsible for engaging with retail stores; driving sales and managing accounts. Their primary focus is on maximising sales for both the brands and the retailers. Some of the clients Exsellence work with include Pladis (McVities and Jacobs brands), Monster Energy, Bayer Consumer Healthcare, William Grant & Sons and L’Oreal.
Huw Davies, Managing Director of Exsellence, said “I'm so pleased and proud to have had the hard work of the Exsellence team recognised in this way. After picking up two awards last year we are again now in only our second year of business collecting two more awards including New Agency of the year."
Only last year the team, in their first year of trading, scooped Sales Team of the Year at the Retail Industry Awards 2018. They quickly followed this by winning in the category of Most Effective In-Store Marketing at the Field Marketing Awards in October.
Matt Blake Field Sales & Capability Director from Pladis ( Pladis = McVities and Jacobs Biscuits) added "'Exsellence continue to break records and redefine the boundaries for Pladis cementing themselves as an integral partner in the process."
FMBE exists to champion best practice in Field Marketing & Brand Experience disciplines and to help clients to select and get the best results from leading specialist and integrated agencies, and their suppliers in the sector.
Frank Wainwright, FMBE Awards Director commented "New Agency of the Year is a discretionary award that we cannot always present because starting an FMBE agency up with success is an immense challenge. Presenting the Gold Award to Exsellence this year was an easy decision for our judges. The agency had already burst onto the scene with a 2018 gold win with client Pladis. 2019 has seen the agency pick up further successes with clients Pladis and Monster. These are two of the most significant businesses using the convenience channel, a highly competitive channel in which Exsellence clearly delivers fantastic results. These large clients put their faith in Exsellence with good reason - our judges found the award entries full of data and insight that points towards transparent client liaison, accountability, professionalism, and future ongoing success."
The testimonials keep coming for Huw and the team "Huw and the Exsellence team are an integral and highly valued part of the sustained Monster Energy growth in Great Britain" said Hayden Rawson RVP Monster Energy GB.
"I'm so pleased and proud to have had the hard work of the Exsellence team recognised in this way."
