Designer Habitat, one of the fastest growing multichannel lifestyle retailers in the UK, has announced the appointment of Duncan Morrow as Head of Buying.
Duncan will be working closely with the co-founders Mark Januszewski and Craig Foster and will have full responsibility for all aspects of buying for the VonHaus and Gold Coast brands, in addition to strategic overview of buying across the business. This key role further demonstrates the retailer’s commitment to delivering quality products at an affordable price.
Duncan will bring considerable expertise from his role as Head of Buying Beauty & Fashion, with the Landmark Group, Dubai. Prior to this Duncan spent 22 years at Wilko, where two and half years were spent heading up the Sourcing team in Hong Kong. He will oversee strategic implementation and buying across all product categories, and will help the business expand the buying team, and build structures and processes as Designer Habitat continues its rapid growth.

Duncan joining the business follows a number of other key appointments including; David Wall as PR and Communications Manager – who joins the business from digital motor-finance specialist Zuto.
The business is currently recruiting for a further 30 members of staff.
