Sadra and Ari Hosseini have ambitions of running the luxury fashion and beauty hub of Iran and the Middle East, and their e-commerce start-up has already secured significant support.
The brother and sister duo co-founded The Luxe London when they noticed an emerging gap in the market after trade sanctions against Iran were dropped. Now backed by the Ignite Accelerator, the company is set for big things.
While official sanctions have been lifted, it’s still difficult for luxury brands to set up business in Iran due to various regulations. As a result, there is high demand and a poor supply of luxury fashion and beauty brands in the country. The Luxe London aims to fill this gap.
“Luxury brands are hugely popular in Iran and elsewhere in the Middle East, but people often struggle to go out and buy them,” explains Sadra, Co-Founder & CEO of The Luxe London.
“The Luxe London is the only e-commerce platform which sells genuine luxury branded products to the Iranian market.”
“Rather than people having to wait until they go abroad to purchase the latest products, we want to make it possible to get hold of newly released collections and favourite items whenever they want. Orders are shipped directly from the UK to the consumer’s doorstep.”
