The Broadway announces return of Student Lock-In

Following on from the success of their event last September, The Broadway Shopping Centre is hosting another Student Lock-In this Thursday (27 April).

Students are invited to visit The Broadway from 6pm until 9pm for the Lock-In, where they can take advantage of deals from over 45 retailers as well as a range of different mall activities.

Student favourites including H&M, Footasylum, Accessorize, Office, Schuh, Debenhams and Jack & Jones are all taking part in the event, with some stores offering up to 25% discount exclusively for students who attend.

Bradford’s popular music venue The Underground will also be at the event, bringing along two local bands to entertain students throughout the night.   Representatives from Pure Gym will also be on site, helping to coach students on their fitness plans and answering any questions they may have.

Broadway’s general manager, Ian Ward, says: “Last year’s Student Lock-In was a runaway success, with thousands of Bradford’s students bagging bargains to help them through their first term at university.  We’ve got even more retailers getting involved in this year’s Lock-In and I’m looking forward to seeing lots of returning faces for Thursday’s event.

“Not only will the students be able to benefit from one-off deals, but they’ll get to experience Bradford’s number one live music venue when The Underground hosts some local talent for them.  This is a great chance for the students to go into their final term fully prepared, it looks set to be a great event.”

Students can register for the Lock-In at http://studentlockin.com/index.php/event/city/bradford

Students should provide proof of registration and bring along their valid student ID card for entry.  The centre is also open to the general public during the Student Lock In.

"Weve got even more retailers getting involved in this years Lock-In and Im looking forward to seeing lots of returning faces for Thursdays event."
