Run in association with The Caravan and Camping Club,The awards are well established and the results are highly regarded in the industry.
‘These awards are the ones that matter most to us because they are voted for by motorhome owners,’ said Michael Hardicker, MD Vantage Motorhomes. ‘We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for us. This is a fantastic result for everyone at the factory. We’re all passionate about our brand, and the team does a superb job of looking after our customers. We’re an independent business with our factory showroom in the centre of Leeds and it’s very satisfying to come out top against so many large international motorhome brands. This is a great start to 2018,’ he added.
Vantage Motorhomes started manufacturing panel van conversions in 2007 and is now one of the largest independent van conversion specialists in the UK. There are 10 motorhomes in the range all designed to accommodate two people. They range from five metres to just under six and a half metres with a choice of layouts.
Digital Editor of Practical Motorhome, Lizzie Pope, said at the event, ‘It’s been a great night for Vantage! The British Company scooped not one but two of the top trophies. First, scoring a satisfaction rating of 89%, Vantage was crowned the Top Manufacturer of New Motorhomes. Then it ‘did the double’, also picking up the prize for the Best Supplying Dealer of New Motorhomes, with a superb score of 97%.’
The Camping and Caravanning Club joined forces with Practical Motorhome magazine in 2016 to support the industry-leading annual Motorhome Owner Satisfaction survey. The survey, which is in its 14th year, is widely publicised and can also be completed online. It welcomes feedback from anyone who has bought, owned and toured in a new or used motorhome since 1 January 2013. The survey ran throughout the summer months and ended in October 2017 with the results announced last week. The awards ceremony was presided over by BBC TV presenter Julia Bradbury.
Last year Vantage celebrated its 10 year anniversary and launched a special limited edition option at the Motorhome and Caravan Show that took place at the NEC in October. The popularity of the anniversary model has prompted the Company to extend the limited edition period and an anniversary model will be on their stand at the upcoming Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in February. (NEC Birmingham 20-25th.)
The Vantage Motorhomes factory showroom is located in central Leeds where customers are encouraged to visit the factory and have a real hands-on experience to ensure they choose the best motorhome for their needs.
